A Message from Ralph Cunningham, Secretary

Welcome to the Web site for the International Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists (IAARS).  This organization was formed in 1980 and is believed to be the oldest of its kind dealing with collective experience in motor vehicle accident reconstruction.  One of the unique features of IAARS participation is peer review of submitted material for acceptance at various levels of membership.  This organization has continuously worked to provide professional training and education in accident reconstruction for members and non-members.

Please check our various pages, including the membership and requirements page, and consider whether you could benefit this organization and benefit from your association with it.  We are always seeking qualified members from any country.  If you have any questions, please contact me using the information provided at the bottom of this message.

Our 2010 seminar me in Bloomington, Minnesota from July 19th through July 21st. It included sessions on drag sled devices, crash data and heavy vehicle event data retrieval, and other accident reconstruction-related topics.

We have an agreement with SOAR that we can publish in their fine quarterly e-magazine, The SOARce, and have access to that Web-published document. We also offer a discount to our members for subscriptions to the excellent print magazine Collision.

Thank you for visiting our site.  Please direct all correspondence and questions to me:
