Mr. Richardson holds a Associate Degree in Law Enforcement and Business from Lansing Community College; received traffic crash investigation training from the Michigan State Police, IPTM, TEEX, British Columbia University and the University of Michigan.

Mr. Richardson has taught traffic crash investigation for the Michigan State Police, Wayne County Sheriff Academy and Schoolcraft College. He earned full ACTAR accreditation as a Traffic Crash Reconstructionist in 1997

Mr. Richardson was in the Air Force as a Law Enforcement Specialist -1971, Honorably Discharged as a Sergeant from the Air Forced to join the Air National Guard to 1973; he was Honorably Discharged as a S/Sergeant from the Air National Guard working as a Shift Supervisor in 1977; was a Weigh Master/Inspector for Ingham County Road Commission from 1976 to February 1977; retired from the Michigan State Police in 2000 after working 16+ years as a Motor Vehicle Accident Reconstructionist working over 800 investigations for the Michigan State Police.

Mr. Richardson started his own business, Accident Reconstruction, LLC in Michigan specializing in traffic crash reconstruction since  2000 working over 300 investigations.

Mr. Richardson has also worked as a Traffic Consultant for the City of Royal Oak Engineering Dept. investigating Traffic Control Orders in 2000 and worked from 2005 to 2008 as a part-time Accident Investigator for the Attorney General Michigan Dept of Transportation Litigation Division.

Mr. Richardson is a member of I.A.A.R.S. –International Association of Accident Reconstructionist Specialists, M.A.T.A.I. - Michigan Association of Traffic Accident Investigators; I.A.T.A.I. – Illinois Association of Traffic Accident Investigators and the Society of Auto Engineers.
